Deepest scuba dive (male)The deepest scuba dive (male) was achieved by Ahmed Gabr (Egypt) who dived to a depth of 332.35 m (1,090 ft 4.5 in) in the Red Sea of Dahab, Egypt, on 18 September 2014.

 

Deepest cycling underwater
The deepest cycling underwater is 66.5 m (218 ft 2.11 in) and was achieved by Vittorio Innocents (Italy) in Santa Margherita Ligure, Liguria, Italy, on 21 July 2008. Vittorio Innocents was the previous record holder of the category and the current Farthest distance cycling underwater record holder. Lucia Sinigagliesi went to Portofino (place of the attempt) to collect the evidence personally.
Deepest scuba dive (female)
The deepest scuba dive for a female is 236.04 meters, and was achieved by Karen van den Oever (South Africa) in Boesmansgat Cave, Northern Cape, South Africa, on 26 March 2021.
The breaking of this record has been a personal goal of Karen's since 2004 when Verna van Schaik broke the record.

Karen started SCUBA diving in 2001 and continued technical diving since 2006 in order to gradually build up the skills and confidence to attempt this record.

 

Highest altitude scuba dive
The highest altitude scuba dive is 6,395 m (20,980 ft 11 in) and was achieved by Marcel Korkus (Poland) at Ojos del Salado, Argentina, on 13 December 2019.
Ojos del Salado is an active volcano on the Argentina–Chile border. The attempt was made in a permanent crater lake on the mountain.

 

Fastest 10 km SCUBA diving
The fastest 10 km scuba diving is 5 hours and 24 min and was achieved by Faisal Hassan (Iraq), in Hurghada, Egypt, on 22 August 2018.

Faisal is a disabled diver and his attempt is to encourage the world to follow their dreams.

 

Dwane Folsom (USA) regularly takes his dog, Shadow, scuba diving off the coast of Grand Cayman Island. The deepest the pair usually go is approximately 4 m (13 ft).
