In memoriam
We are very saddened by the passing of Rocco Morando, the National Registry’s first Executive Director. Rocco was a guiding light for the EMS profession and one of the founders of NAEMT. We are deeply grateful for all of his contributions to the development of EMS in our nation. In his honor, NAEMT established the Rocco V. Morando Lifetime Achievement Award to recognize outstanding contributions and leadership to EMS.
